Maggie is a “lucky” dog to have such a great owner who loves her – a little too much.  So Maggie runs away into the woods, meeting a mysterious stray cat, Forest.  Forest shows Maggie the ways of wild, and invites her to stay in her home high above in a Birch tree.  But when a predator comes visiting in the night, Forest must sacrifice herself to save Maggie.  Maggie returns to home gratefully, thankful of Forest and her safe life.
